Steel Sliding Gate with Aluminium Infill – Kilmessan, Meath
Back to projectsSteel Sliding Gate with Aluminium Infill – Kilmessan, Meath
We installed a sliding gate in Kilmessan, Meath, built with a galvanised steel frame and 90 mm aluminium tongue-and-groove infill boards. The steel frame was powder-coated in RAL 7016 as part of the specified protective treatment. The gate also included an open upper section with vertical framing, a curved upper profile and a decorative end post. Our team completed the groundwork required for the installation and prepared the entrance for the finished steel gate system.
We automated the gate using a 24 V SEA Mercury motor. The system was configured with reverse-on-obstacle operation, allowing the gate to stop and reverse when resistance is detected during movement. Photocells were fitted on both the inside and outside of the entrance to support controlled operation across the gate opening.
Access was configured through a video intercom with a combined keypad, providing an integrated point for visitor communication and gate activation. We also supplied remote controls for regular gate operation. The completed installation combines the steel gate structure, aluminium infill, automation, safety equipment, access controls and groundwork within one motorised gate project and forms part of our completed gate installations.
