Steel Automatic Gates

We manufactured and installed these steel automatic gates for a property in Dublin. The gates were fabricated by our team using galvanised steel to provide durable protection against corrosion and regular outdoor exposure. We then applied a powder-coated RAL 9005 finish to complete the gate construction and provide a consistent protective surface across the steelwork.

For automation, we installed a 24-volt underground system with reverse-on-obstacle functionality. Positioning the automation equipment below ground keeps the operating mechanism discreet while allowing the gate leaves to open and close automatically. The reverse-on-obstacle function helps the system respond when resistance is detected during operation. We also fitted photocells on both the inside and outside of the entrance as standard, providing additional detection coverage around the gate opening. Access is managed through a video intercom system with a Wi-Fi mobile app, allowing the user to view visitors and control entry from a compatible mobile device.

Our team completed the full installation, including all required ground works, gate manufacturing, automation, safety equipment and access-control setup. The finished project provides a fully automated steel entrance system designed, built and installed by Automation Supplies.
