Industrial Steel Sliding Gate - Naas, Co. Kildare

We built and installed an industrial steel sliding gate in Naas, Co. Kildare. The gate features a heavy-duty steel structure engineered for dependable operation in an industrial environment. Its weld mesh infill provides a strong physical barrier while maintaining the structural integrity required across the full gate span. Our team managed the bespoke design, fabrication and on-site installation to create a complete sliding entrance system.

We automated the gate using a 2000 kg SEA motor, providing the heavy-load capacity required to control the steel gate during opening and closing. The motor is equipped with inverter technology, which regulates its operation and supports controlled acceleration and deceleration throughout each movement cycle. This helps manage the mechanical load placed on the gate and automation components. Integrated safety edges provide operational protection by detecting contact during movement and signalling the control system to stop the gate. We also incorporated standard industrial access control integration, allowing the automated entrance to operate with compatible access management equipment.

The completed installation provides a durable, fully automated industrial entrance combining a heavy-duty sliding gate, high-capacity SEA automation, integrated safety equipment and industrial access control functionality.
