Sliding Gate with Plastic Infill
Back to projectsSliding Gate with Plastic Infill
We manufactured this trackless steel sliding gate in-house at Automation Supplies, producing the gate structure to suit the required entrance arrangement. The steel framework was fitted with plastic infill to create a fully enclosed gate panel while retaining a durable, practical construction. Its trackless sliding configuration removes the need for a ground track across the entrance, allowing the gate to operate without relying on a recessed guide channel in the driveway surface. This setup supports efficient gate motion while simplifying the physical layout at ground level.
We automated the gate using a SEA Saturn 1500 kg 24 volt motor. This high-capacity operator is designed for heavy sliding gate applications and provides the power required to move the completed steel structure consistently. Our team integrated the motor with the trackless gate mechanism to provide controlled opening and closing throughout each operating cycle. The 24volt system supports dependable automated operation, while the motor’s 1500kg capacity makes it suitable for managing the weight and mechanical demands of this gate assembly.
The completed project provides a fully automated, trackless sliding entrance system manufactured, assembled and installed by our team. Every stage was handled in-house to maintain control over the gate construction, automation setup and final installation.
