Full Aluminium Sliding Gate, Blackrock, Louth

We designed, built and installed a full aluminium sliding gate for a property in Blackrock, County Louth. The gate features a contemporary design and is panelled on both sides, creating a fully enclosed aluminium structure with a robust double-panelled build. Our team managed each stage of the project, from the bespoke gate design and manufacturing process through to the final installation and automation setup.

We automated the sliding gate using a SEA Mercury 24-volt motor. This system controls the gate’s opening and closing motion, providing smooth and consistent operation across the entrance. Inside and outside photocells were installed to create safety coverage on both sides of the gate. These photocells detect obstructions within the monitored areas and communicate with the automation system to help prevent the gate from continuing its motion when the entrance is not clear. We also installed a multi-point video intercom system with door stations positioned inside and outside the entrance. The access control equipment includes a combined keypad, a 7-inch display inside the house and a mobile application, allowing the gate and intercom system to be managed through several connected access points.

The completed project provides a fully automated aluminium sliding entrance with integrated safety detection, video communication and keypad access. The entire system was designed, manufactured, configured and installed by our team.
