Manual Cantilever Steel Sliding Gate – Wicklow

We manufactured and installed a manual cantilever steel sliding gate in Wicklow, providing a clear opening of 9 metres. Our team manufactured the gate in-house, with steel fabrication forming the core of the project. The gate leaf features an open-frame construction with geometric cross-bracing arranged within the steel framework. This construction combines an open layout with the diagonal steel members that define the gate’s braced structure.

We installed the gate in a cantilever configuration, allowing the leaf to move across the entrance without requiring a ground track through the clear opening. This track-free movement is a defining feature of cantilever gates, including manually operated systems such as this installation. The fabricated steelwork was galvanised and then powder-coated in RAL 9005, combining the specified protective treatment with the final powder-coated finish.

Our team completed all required groundwork for the gate installation, alongside the manufacture and fitting of the gate. Our scope therefore covered both the in-house steel fabrication and the on-site groundwork and installation. We completed the Wicklow project as a manually operated cantilever entrance system with a 9-metre clear opening and galvanised, powder-coated steelwork.
