Anae Aluminium Sliding Gate – Ashbourne, Meath
Back to projectsAnae Aluminium Sliding Gate – Ashbourne, Meath
We installed an Anae aluminium sliding gate for this entrance in Ashbourne, Meath. The gate features a horizontal panel construction, giving the installation a clearly defined and consistent layout. Steel posts were incorporated on both sides of the entrance to support the gate system, with decorative caps fitted to complete the confirmed entrance specification. This combination brought together the aluminium gate structure and the required supporting components as part of one coordinated installation.
We automated the gate using a 24 V SEA Mercury motor. The system was configured with reverse-on-obstacle operation, allowing the gate to stop and reverse when resistance is detected during movement. Photocells were also fitted on both the inside and outside of the entrance to monitor the gate area as it opens and closes. These components formed the main automation and safety arrangement for the completed motorised gate.
For access control, we fitted a video intercom with a combined keypad at the entrance. A seven-inch touchscreen display was installed inside the house, allowing the intercom system to be operated from indoors. Remote controls were also supplied for direct gate operation. Our team completed the full aluminium gates installation by integrating the gate, steel posts, automation equipment, safety devices and access controls into one working entrance system.
