Steel-Framed Aluminium Privacy Gate System – Wicklow

We built and installed this privacy gate system in Wicklow using a heavy-duty steel gate frame fitted with vertical aluminium wood-effect slats. Each slat was mounted over an aluminium backing plate to provide the desired privacy arrangement across the gate. This layered construction brings together steel framework and aluminium components, combining two different gate materials within the completed entrance system. The aluminium elements also place the project within our work involving aluminium gates and gate components.

The gate was fitted with a central handle and latch mechanism, providing the confirmed operating and closing point between the gate sections. The steel framework forms the main structural support, while the aluminium backing plate sits directly behind the vertical slats. This arrangement closes the gaps through the gate and maintains the specified privacy-focused construction without introducing additional infill materials.

The completed project is a full-privacy entrance system designed, built and installed by our team for the Wicklow property and forms part of our completed gate installations.
