Aluminium Sliding Gate, Dundalk, Co. Louth

We built and installed this bespoke aluminium sliding gate in Dundalk, Co. Louth. The gate features a solid vertical-panelled lower section that provides privacy and structural rigidity. This transitions into an open vertical-slat upper section finished with a curved, arched profile. Aluminium was selected for its durability and natural resistance to corrosion, making it well suited to long-term outdoor use. The robust construction also supports stable movement during repeated opening and closing cycles.

We automated the gate using a 24-volt SEA Mercury motor, which delivers reliable, track-driven power for the sliding mechanism. The motor operates the gate along its installed track, maintaining controlled movement across the entrance while supporting the mechanical stability of the complete system. We also fitted a GSM intercom system for cellular-based access control. This allows authorised users to communicate with visitors and manage entry remotely through the mobile network, providing practical perimeter control without requiring someone to be positioned at the gate.

The completed installation provides a durable and fully automated entrance system, with the gate, motor and access-control hardware designed, built and installed by our team.
