Steel Louvred Sliding Gate and Pedestrian Side Gate

We designed, built and installed a heavy-duty steel louvred sliding gate together with a matching pedestrian side gate. Vertical steel louvres extend across the main sliding span and pedestrian entrance, providing structural privacy while allowing airflow through the installation. The robust steel construction gives both gates the strength required for reliable day-to-day operation.

For controlled pedestrian access, we equipped the side gate with a built-in door closer and an electric strike lock. The door closer provides a consistent mechanical self-closing action, returning the gate to its closed position after each use. This helps ensure that the pedestrian entrance self-secures rather than remaining open. The electric strike lock provides electronically controlled access for foot traffic, allowing the locking point to be released when authorised entry is provided and secured again once the gate closes. Together, these components create a practical pedestrian access arrangement without affecting the operation of the main sliding gate.

The completed project provides a durable steel louvred sliding entrance with a matching, self-closing pedestrian access system. Every component was designed, built and installed by our team.
