Full Aluminium Sliding Gate - Salthill, Co. Galway

We supplied and installed a Celina full aluminium sliding gate at a property in Salthill, Co. Galway. Solid vertical slats run across the gate leaf, creating a full-privacy entrance. We finished the aluminium in RAL 7037 to match the property’s window frames and fitted the gate between white rendered concrete pillars. A parcel box is built directly into the supporting wall pillar beside the gate.

We automated the gate with an SEA Mercury 800 kg, 24-volt sliding gate motor. Its reverse-on-obstacle feature causes the gate to reverse if it meets an obstruction during operation. We also fitted photocells on both the inside and outside of the entrance, providing detection on each side of the gate. The motorised gate can be operated by remote controls or through the Control4 app integration. A third-party intercom system is also connected to the access controls. The parcel box remains built into the wall pillar alongside this equipment.

The completed residential gate installation combines the full-privacy aluminium gate, SEA Mercury automation, inside and outside photocells, remote and app operation, a third-party intercom and the wall-integrated parcel box.
