Double Swing Menez Gates - Castleblayney, Monaghan

We built and installed a new manually operated entrance system in Castleblayney, Monaghan, using the Menez design in a double swing configuration with a matching pedestrian gate. The main swing gates form the driveway entrance, while the separate pedestrian gate provides an additional access point within the same installation. These two gate types were manufactured in the same Menez style and finished uniformly in RAL 8014 Sepia Brown. This created a consistent specification across the main driveway gates and pedestrian entrance.

As this installation does not use automation, access is controlled directly through the integrated manual hardware. Door handles were fitted to both sections of the main double gates and to the matching pedestrian gate, providing straightforward physical control over opening, closing and securing each access point. The arrangement keeps the operation entirely manual while maintaining separate vehicle and pedestrian access within the property boundary. The construction and hardware were incorporated as part of the complete metal gate installation.

The completed project provides a manually operated Menez double swing entrance with a matching pedestrian gate, consistent RAL 8014 Sepia Brown finishing and integrated handles across the full gate system. Our team handled the design, manufacture and installation as part of our completed gate installations.
