Eban Premium Aluminium Swing Gate, Co. Cavan

For this residential property in Co. Cavan, we designed, built, and installed an Eban premium aluminium swing gate to provide a secure, low-maintenance entrance with a clean, solid-panel appearance. The gate was manufactured to suit the property precisely, creating a substantial visual barrier while maintaining a refined finish. Aluminium is naturally resistant to rust and requires less routine upkeep than many traditional gate materials, making it well suited to long-term residential use in Irish weather conditions.

We automated the gate using a SEA 24V underground system. By installing the motors beneath ground level, we kept the operating mechanism discreet and preserved the uncluttered appearance of the entrance. The system provides dependable opening and closing for daily use without visible motor arms mounted on the gate. We also installed two sets of photocells, positioned inside and outside the property. These safety sensors detect vehicles or other obstructions in the gate’s path and help prevent the gate from closing when the entrance is not clear.

Access is managed through handheld remotes and an integrated video intercom with a keypad. A 7-inch touchscreen allows the homeowner to see and communicate with visitors before granting entry, while smart app control provides convenient gate operation from a compatible mobile device. The completed installation combines robust aluminium construction, concealed automation and practical access control in one coordinated entrance system.
