Steel Swing Gates with Aluminium Infill – Rathfeigh, Meath
Back to projectsSteel Swing Gates with Aluminium Infill – Rathfeigh, Meath
We installed paired steel swing gates at a property in Rathfeigh, County Meath. Each gate was constructed with a steel frame and solid horizontal infill formed from 180 mm aluminium tongue-and-groove boards. The steel frames were galvanised and powder-coated to provide the specified finish for external use. This combination retains the structural form of a steel gate while using aluminium boards across the full infill area.
Our team automated the gates using a 24 V underground automation system. Positioning the automation below ground keeps the operating equipment at the base of each gate leaf. The system includes reverse-on-obstacle operation, allowing the gates to stop and reverse when an obstruction is detected. We also fitted photocells on both the inside and outside of the entrance as part of the automated safety arrangement.
Access was configured through a combined video intercom and keypad, allowing communication and controlled gate operation from the entrance. Remote controls were also supplied for operating the motorised gate system. The completed installation brings together the paired steel gates, aluminium infill, underground automation, photocells and access-control equipment as part of our completed gate installations.
