Large Commercial Swing Gate Automation

We installed a large commercial swing gate automation system configured for frequent operation. The installation uses SEA Super full-tank hydraulic rams, which can operate gates measuring up to 9 metres and weighing up to 2,000 kg per leaf. A higher-capacity version is also available for gates up to 12 metres and 2,500 kg per leaf.

The hydraulic rams are managed through a SEA Unigate control panel. This panel uses inverter technology to regulate motor power, operating speed and controlled slowdown during each opening and closing cycle. As a motorised gate system, the installation also includes remotes and keypads for controlled entry.

Laser technology provides gate safety monitoring and free-exit activation. The laser-based arrangement detects movement within the configured area without requiring ground loops to be cut into the entrance surface, providing both safety monitoring and automated exit functionality.

The completed project combines SEA hydraulic rams, the Unigate control panel, inverter technology, laser detection and access-control equipment as part of our completed gate installations.
