Aluminium Swing Gates, Summerhill, Meath
Back to projectsAluminium Swing Gates, Summerhill, Meath
We designed, built and installed these heavy-duty aluminium double swing gates for a property in Summerhill, Meath. The aluminium construction provides long-term durability while keeping each gate leaf weight-efficient for dependable automated movement. Each gate features a solid vertical-panelled lower section designed to provide privacy and core structural rigidity, transitioning into an open vertical-slat upper section.
We automated the swing mechanism using 24V SCA underground motors. Installed discreetly below the surface, these motors provide mechanically stable movement without exposed operators on the gate structure. Built-in obstacle detection supports safe operation by responding when resistance is detected during movement. We also fitted two sets of safety photocells to monitor the entrance while the gates are opening and closing. Access is managed through a combined stainless steel video intercom, allowing visitors to be seen and identified before entry is granted. GSM gate control integration provides cellular remote access, while traditional remote controls give authorised users a practical option for operating the gates nearby.
The completed project provides a durable, fully automated aluminium entrance system with discreet underground automation, integrated safety equipment and multiple access control methods. Our team managed every stage from the bespoke gate design and fabrication through to automation and final installation.
