Ornate Steel Gates with Backing Plate – Summerhill, Meath

We manufactured and installed these bespoke ornate steel gate sections for a property in Summerhill, County Meath. The complete gate system was produced in-house by our team, allowing us to manage the fabrication, assembly and installation process from start to finish. The gates feature an ornate steel design, reflecting one of the gate styles used for decorative entrances, combined with a backing plate that creates a solid entrance barrier while retaining the specified steelwork.

The gates are supported by 200 x 200 mm hanging posts that reduce to 150 x 150 mm. These post dimensions provide the structural support required to carry the gate leaves and maintain alignment during regular opening and closing. Decorative caps were fitted to the reduced posts as part of the completed construction. The backing plate forms a continuous barrier across the gate surface, increasing privacy and limiting direct visibility through the ornate framework. Each component was manufactured and assembled to suit the dimensions and requirements of the entrance, forming part of our work with metal gates.

The completed installation provides a custom-manufactured gate system supported by purpose-built hanging posts. Our team handled the steel fabrication, gate construction, structural preparation and on-site work as part of our completed gate installations.
