Full Aluminium Pedestrian Side Gate

We designed, built and installed a full aluminium pedestrian side gate in Dundrum, together with a matching aluminium fence. The gate features horizontally arranged slats integrated within a rigid frame to create a consistent, enclosed entrance structure. Aluminium was selected for the complete assembly because it provides strong resistance to corrosion, moisture exposure and routine outdoor wear while remaining suitable for long-term residential use. The matching fence was fabricated and positioned alongside the gate to form one continuous installation.

The pedestrian gate operates manually and is fitted with a handle incorporating a key lock cylinder. The handle allows the gate to be opened and closed directly without an automated operator, control panel or electrical supply. Once the gate is closed, the key-operated cylinder secures the locking mechanism and restricts access to authorised keyholders. This hardware provides a straightforward physical security arrangement with minimal operating components. The horizontal slats are fixed securely within the aluminium framework, helping the gate retain its alignment during repeated manual use.

Our team completed the full pedestrian gate and fence project from initial bespoke design through fabrication and on-site installation. The finished system provides a durable, manually operated entrance with integrated locking hardware and a matching aluminium boundary section.
