Full Aluminium Bow Top Gates

We built and installed a set of full aluminium bow top gates for a property in Portlaoise. The gates were manufactured as a manually operated entrance system, with each section formed from aluminium to provide a durable structure suitable for regular use. A reinforced mid bar was incorporated across the gate design to strengthen the overall assembly and support consistent operation. The aluminium construction also provides practical resistance to corrosion and reduces the maintenance requirements associated with the completed entrance.

For additional structural support, the mid bar reinforcement helps distribute force across the gate leaves and limits excessive flex during opening, closing and locking. This added rigidity supports accurate alignment between the two gates and helps the locking components remain correctly positioned during repeated manual operation. We also fitted integrated lockable door handles, allowing the gates to be opened and secured directly by hand without an automated operator or separate access control system. Once locked, the handles provide a controlled manual locking point for the entrance.

The completed installation provides a durable aluminium entrance with reinforced gate leaves and straightforward manual security. Our team managed the project from the initial bespoke design and fabrication through to the final installation in Portlaoise.
